वध्यत्वम उपगच्छेतां मम सत्यपराक्रमौ एतद इच्छाम्य अहं कामं पराप्तुं लॊकहिताय वै ।। ३-१९४-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'O you of unfailing prowess, I ask that you submit to be slain by me, for this is what I wish to accomplish for the welfare of the world.' ।। 3-194-22 ।।

english translation

vadhyatvama upagacchetAM mama satyaparAkramau etada icchAmya ahaM kAmaM parAptuM lòkahitAya vai || 3-194-22 ||
