तस्य निःश्वासवातेन रज उद्धूयते महत आदित्यपथम आवृत्य सप्ताहं भूमिकम्पनम सविस्फुलिङ्गं सज्वालं सधूमं हय अति दारुणम ।। ३-१९३-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'His breath stirs up clouds of sand, obscuring even the sun, and for seven continuous days, the earth shakes in all directions. Sparks and flames of fire, mingled with smoke, spread far and wide.' ।। 3-193-22 ।।

english translation

tasya niHzvAsavAtena raja uddhUyate mahata Adityapathama AvRtya saptAhaM bhUmikampanama savisphuliGgaM sajvAlaM sadhUmaM haya ati dAruNama || 3-193-22 ||
