[मार्क] ततस तथा कृतवान पार्थिवस तु; ततॊ मुनिं राजपुत्री बभाषे यथा युक्तं वामदेवाहम एनं; दिने दिने संविशन्ती वयशंसम बराह्मणेभ्यॊ मृगयन्ती सूनृतानि; तथा बरह्मन पुण्यलॊकं लभेयम ।। ३-१९०-७९ ।।

sanskrit

'And king Dala, following the sage’s instructions, did as he was directed. Then the queen, addressing the sage, said, "O Vamadeva, grant that I may instruct this unfortunate husband of mine day by day, imparting to him words of happiness. Let me always serve and honor the Brahmanas, and by this, O Brahmana, may I attain the sacred regions in the life to come."' ।। 3-190-79 ।।

english translation

[mArka] tatasa tathA kRtavAna pArthivasa tu; tatò muniM rAjaputrI babhASe yathA yuktaM vAmadevAhama enaM; dine dine saMvizantI vayazaMsama barAhmaNebhyò mRgayantI sUnRtAni; tathA barahmana puNyalòkaM labheyama || 3-190-79 ||
