[मार्क] ततश चॊरक्षयं कृत्वा दविजेभ्यः पृथिवीम इमाम वाजिमेधे महायज्ञे विधिवत कल्पयिष्यति ॥ ३-१८९-१ ॥

'Markandeya continued, 'Having exterminated the thieves and robbers, Kalki will, at a grand Horse-sacrifice, duly consecrate this earth and give it to the Brahmanas.'' ॥ 3-189-1 ॥

[mArka] tataza còrakSayaM kRtvA davijebhyaH pRthivIma imAma vAjimedhe mahAyajJe vidhivata kalpayiSyati ॥ 3-189-1 ॥

सथापयित्वा स मर्यादाः सवयम्भुविहिताः शुभाः वनं पुण्ययशः कर्मा जरावान संश्रयिष्यति ॥ ३-१८९-२ ॥

'And having re-established the blessed and sacred rectitude ordained by the Self-Created, Kalki, renowned for his virtuous deeds and illustrious reputation, will take refuge in a delightful forest.' ॥ 3-189-2 ॥

sathApayitvA sa maryAdAH savayambhuvihitAH zubhAH vanaM puNyayazaH karmA jarAvAna saMzrayiSyati ॥ 3-189-2 ॥

तच छीलम अनुवर्त्स्यन्ते मनुष्या लॊकवासिनः विप्रैश चॊरक्शये चैव कृते कषेमं भविश्यते ॥ ३-१८९-३ ॥

'The people of this earth will follow his example, and when the Brahmanas have exterminated the thieves and robbers, prosperity will prevail everywhere.' ॥ 3-189-3 ॥

taca chIlama anuvartsyante manuSyA lòkavAsinaH vipraiza còrakzaye caiva kRte kaSemaM bhavizyate ॥ 3-189-3 ॥

कृष्णाजिनानि शक्तीश च तरिशूलान्य आयुधानि च सथापयन विप्र शार्दूलॊ देशेषु विजितेषु च ॥ ३-१८९-४ ॥

'And as the countries of the earth are subjugated one after another, that tiger among Brahmanas, Kalki, will set up deer skins, lances, and tridents in those lands.' ॥ 3-189-4 ॥

kRSNAjinAni zaktIza ca tarizUlAnya AyudhAni ca sathApayana vipra zArdUlò dezeSu vijiteSu ca ॥ 3-189-4 ॥

संस्तूयमानॊ विप्रेन्द्रैर मानयानॊ दविजॊत्तमान कल्किश चरिष्यति महीं सदा दस्यु वधे रतः ॥ ३-१८९-५ ॥

'He will roam the earth, revered by the foremost Brahmanas, showing his respect for them, while simultaneously engaged in slaying thieves and robbers.' ॥ 3-189-5 ॥

saMstUyamAnò viprendraira mAnayAnò davijòttamAna kalkiza cariSyati mahIM sadA dasyu vadhe rataH ॥ 3-189-5 ॥
