मया च विप्र दत्तॊ ऽयं वरस ते बरह्मरूपिणा असकृत परितुष्टेन विप्रर्षिगणपूजित ॥ ३-१८७-४१ ॥
'O foremost of Brahmanas, I, who am Brahma, have repeatedly granted you boons, being gratified with your devotion, O one who is worshipped by the regenerate Rishis!' ॥ 3-187-41 ॥
english translation
सर्वम एकार्णवं दृष्ट्वा नष्टं सथावरजङ्गमम विक्लवॊ ऽसि मया जञातस ततस ते दर्शितं जगत ॥ ३-१८७-४२ ॥
'Upon witnessing a vast expanse of water and perceiving the destruction of all mobile and immobile creatures, you were struck with sorrow. I know this, and it is for this reason that I have shown you the universe within my stomach.' ॥ 3-187-42 ॥
english translation
अभ्यन्तरं शरीरस्य परविष्टॊ ऽसि यदा मम दृष्ट्वा लॊकं समस्तं च विस्मितॊ नावबुध्यसे ॥ ३-१८७-४३ ॥
'While you were within my body, witnessing the entire universe, you were filled with awe and rendered senseless.' ॥ 3-187-43 ॥
english translation
ततॊ ऽसि वक्त्राद विप्रर्षे दरुतं निःसारितॊ मया आख्यातस ते मया चात्मा दुर्ज्ञेयॊ ऽपि सुरासुरैः ॥ ३-१८७-४४ ॥
'O regenerate Rishi, it is for this reason that I swiftly brought you out through my mouth. I have now revealed to you the Soul, which is beyond the comprehension of both the gods and the Asuras.' ॥ 3-187-44 ॥
english translation
यावत स भगवान बरह्मा न बुध्यति महातपः तावत तवम इह विप्रर्षे विश्रब्धश चर वै सुखम ॥ ३-१८७-४५ ॥
'As long as that great ascetic, the holy Brahma, doth not awaken, thou, O regenerate Rishi, canst dwell here in peace and trust, living happily.' ॥ 3-187-45 ॥
