आदित्यॊ दिवि देवेषु तमॊनुदति तेजसा तथैव नृपतिर भूमाव अधर्मं नुदते भृशम ॥ ३-१८३-२६ ॥
'Just as the Sun among the gods in heaven dispels darkness with his brilliance, so does the king completely eradicate sin from the earth.' ॥ 3-183-26 ॥
english translation
अतॊ राज्ञः परधानत्वं शास्त्रप्रामाण्य दर्शनात उत्तरः सिध्यते पक्षॊ येन राजेति भाषितम ॥ ३-१८३-२७ ॥
'Hence, the greatness of the king is affirmed by the sacred texts, and we are bound to support the side that speaks in favor of the king.' ॥ 3-183-27 ॥
english translation
[मार्क] ततः स राजा संहृष्टः सिद्धे पक्षे महामनः तम अत्रिम अब्रवीत परीतः पूर्वं येनाभिसंस्तुतः ॥ ३-१८३-२८ ॥
'Markandeya continued, 'Then the illustrious prince, greatly pleased with the victorious side, joyfully addressed Atri, who had previously praised him.'' ॥ 3-183-28 ॥

यस्मात सर्वमनुष्येषु जयायांसं माम इहाब्रवीः सर्वदेवैश च विप्रर्षे संमितं शरेष्ठम एव च तस्मात ते ऽहं परदास्यामि विविधं वसु भूरि च ॥ ३-१८३-२९ ॥
'O regenerate Rishi, you have declared me the greatest and most exalted of men, comparing me to the gods; therefore, I shall bestow upon you vast and varied wealth.' ॥ 3-183-29 ॥

दासी सहस्रं शयामानां सुवस्त्राणाम अलंकृतम दशकॊट्यॊ हिरण्यस्य रुक्मभारांस तथा दश एतद ददानि ते विप्र सर्वज्ञस तवं हि मे मतः ॥ ३-१८३-३० ॥
'My impression is that you are omniscient. Therefore, I give you, O well-dressed and well-adorned one, a hundred million gold coins and also ten bharas of gold.' ॥ 3-183-30 ॥
