। ३-१८३-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'Then, the great ascetic, having heard the details from them, addressed them with words full of religious significance. Sanatkumara said, 'Just as fire, aided by the wind, consumes forests, so does the energy of a Brahmana, in union with a Kshatriya, or a Kshatriya’s strength, combined with a Brahmana’s, destroy all enemies. The sovereign is the supreme lawgiver and protector of his people. He is like Indra in protecting all created beings, like Sukra in imparting moral teachings, like Brihaspati in counsel, and thus he is also the ruler of men's destinies.'' ।। 3-183-22 ।।
