इति चाप्य अहम अश्रौषं वचस तेषां दयावताम मयि संजातहार्दानाम अथ ते ऽनतर्हिता दविजाः ॥ ३-१७६-२३ ॥
'And thus I heard these words of those compassionate ones who had developed affection for me. Then those twice-born ones (brahmins) disappeared.' ॥ 3-176-23 ॥
