सॊ ऽहं परमदुष्कर्मा वसामि निरये ऽशुचौ सर्पयॊनिम इमां पराप्य कालाकाङ्क्षी महाद्युते ॥ ३-१७६-२४ ॥
'And then the Brahmanas vanished. Thus, O resplendent one, having taken the form of a serpent, I, having committed grievous sins, dwell in this unclean hell, awaiting the appointed time for my liberation.' ॥ 3-176-24 ॥
