तत्रैव मातलिस तूर्णं निपत्य पृथिवीतले नादयन रथघॊषेण तत पुरं समुपाद्रवत ।। ३-१६६-७ ।।

sanskrit

'And there, Matali, skilled in guiding the chariot, swiftly descended to the earth and, seated firmly, drove it with great force, causing the city to tremble with the thunderous sound of his chariot.' ।। 3-166-7 ।।

english translation

tatraiva mAtalisa tUrNaM nipatya pRthivItale nAdayana rathaghòSeNa tata puraM samupAdravata || 3-166-7 ||
