तान अप्य असौ मातलिर अभ्यनन्दत; पितेव पुत्रान अनुशिष्य चैनान ययौ रथेनाप्रतिम परभेण; पुनः सकाशं तरिदिवेश्वरस्य ।। ३-१६१-२५ ।।

sanskrit

'Matali, in turn, greeted them warmly. After imparting instructions to the Parthas, as a father would to his sons, he mounted that unparalleled chariot and returned to the lord of the celestials.' ।। 3-161-25 ।।

english translation

tAna apya asau mAtalira abhyanandata; piteva putrAna anuziSya cainAna yayau rathenApratima parabheNa; punaH sakAzaM taridivezvarasya || 3-161-25 ||
