ततः संहृष्टरॊमाणः शब्दं तम अभिदुद्रुवुः यक्षराक्षस गन्धर्वाः पाण्डवस्य समीपतः ॥ ३-१५७-४१ ॥
'Then, with their hair standing on end (in excitement), the Yakshas, Rakshasas, and Gandharvas rushed towards that sound, near to where the Pandava was.' ॥ 3-157-41 ॥

tataH saMhRSTaròmANaH zabdaM tama abhidudruvuH yakSarAkSasa gandharvAH pANDavasya samIpataH ॥ 3-157-41 ॥

'Seized by the arms of the Yakshas and Rakshasas, the blazing maces, clubs, swords, spears, javelins, and axes were hurled.' ॥ 3-157-42 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः परववृते युद्धं तेषां तस्य च भारत तैः परयुक्तान महाकायैः शक्तिशूलपरश्वधान भल्लैर भीमः परचिच्छेद भीमवेगतरैस ततः ॥ ३-१५७-४३ ॥
'And when the battle began between the Rakshasas and Bhima, the mighty Pandava cut through their darts, javelins, and axes with his arrows. With his immense strength, Bhima pierced the bodies of the roaring Rakshasas—both those in the sky and those on the ground.' ॥ 3-157-43 ॥

'The mighty one (mahābalah) pierced with arrows the bodies of the roaring Rakshasas, both those moving in the sky and those standing on the ground.' ॥ 3-157-44 ॥

antarikSacarANAM ca bhUmiSThAnAM ca garjatAma zaraira vivyAdha gAtrANi rAkSasAnAM mahAbalaH ॥ 3-157-44 ॥

'And Bhima, of immense strength, was drenched in a torrential rain of blood that flowed from the bodies of the mighty Rakshasas, who wielded maces and clubs, spilling on all sides from their forms.' ॥ 3-157-45 ॥
