भीम बाहुबलॊत्सृष्टैर बहुधा यक्षरक्षसाम विनिकृत्तान्य अदृश्यन्त शरीराणि शिरांसि च ॥ ३-१५७-४६ ॥
'The bodies and arms of the Yakshas and Rakshasas were seen to be severed by the weapons unleashed through the might of Bhima's powerful arms.' ॥ 3-157-46 ॥
english translation
परच्छाद्यमानं रक्षॊभिः पाण्डवं परियदर्शनम ददृशुः सर्वभूतानि सूर्यम अभ्रगणैर इव ॥ ३-१५७-४७ ॥
'Then all the creatures beheld the graceful Pandava, densely surrounded by the Rakshasas, like the Sun enveloped by clouds.' ॥ 3-157-47 ॥
english translation
स रश्मिभिर इवादित्यः शरैर अरिनिघातिभिः सर्वान आर्छन महाबाहुर बलवान सत्यविक्रमः ॥ ३-१५७-४८ ॥
'Just as the Sun envelops everything with its rays, the mighty-armed Bhima, with his unwavering prowess, covered all with arrows, vanquishing his foes.' ॥ 3-157-48 ॥

अभितर्जयमानाश च रुवन्तश च महारवान न मॊहं भीमसेनस्य ददृशुः सर्वराक्षसाः ॥ ३-१५७-४९ ॥
'Though menacing and roaring, the Rakshasas could not perceive Bhima in the slightest bit of distress.' ॥ 3-157-49 ॥

ते शरैः कषतसर्वाङ्गा भीमसेनभयार्दिताः भीमम आर्तस्वरं चक्रुर विप्रकीर्णमहायुधाः ॥ ३-१५७-५० ॥
'Then, their bodies mangled and struck with fear, the Yakshas began to utter distressing cries. Bhimasena, terrifying them with his mighty bow, made them throw down their weapons.' ॥ 3-157-50 ॥
