गते तस्मिन हरिवरे भीमॊ ऽपि बलिनां वरः तेन मार्गेण विपुलं वयचरद गन्धमादनम ॥ ३-१५०-१६ ॥
'After the foremost of monkeys had departed, Bhima, the greatest of the strong, began to roam the vast Gandhamadana along that very path.' ॥ 3-150-16 ॥

अनुस्मरन वपुस तस्य शरियं चाप्रतिमां भुवि माहात्म्यम अनुभावं च समरन दाशरथेर ययौ ॥ ३-१५०-१७ ॥
'He proceeded, contemplating Hanuman's form and unparalleled grandeur on earth, as well as the greatness and dignity of Dasharatha's son.' ॥ 3-150-17 ॥
english translation
स तानि रमणीयानि वनान्य उपवनानि च विलॊडयाम आस तदा सौगन्धिक वनेप्सया ॥ ३-१५०-१८ ॥
'Continuing in search of the place filled with such lotuses, Bhima beheld enchanting woods, groves, rivers, and lakes adorned with trees bearing blossoms, along with flowery woodlands, rich in a variety of flowers.' ॥ 3-150-18 ॥

फुल्लपद्मविचित्राणि पुष्पितानि वनानि च मत्तवारणयूथानि पङ्कक्लिन्नानि भारत वर्षताम इव मेघानां वृन्दानि ददृशे तदा ॥ ३-१५०-१९ ॥
'O descendant of Bharata, I saw the forests blooming with fully opened, variegated lotuses, the herds of intoxicated elephants mud-smeared, as if the clusters of clouds were raining.' ॥ 3-150-19 ॥

हरिणैश चञ्चलापाङ्गैर हरिणी सहितैर वने सशष्प कवलैः शरीमान पथि दृष्टॊ दरुतं ययौ ॥ ३-१५०-२० ॥
'And the graceful one, moving swiftly, beheld by the wayside woods, where deer with quick glances stood with their mates, grass held in their mouths.' ॥ 3-150-20 ॥
