तस्य लाङ्गूलनिदनं पर्वतः स गुहा मुखैः उद्गारम इव गौर नर्दम उत्ससर्ज समन्ततः ॥ ३-१४६-६१ ॥

'And from all directions, the mountains, through the mouths of their caves, echoed those sounds, resembling the lowing of a cow. As the mountain trembled from the force of the tail’s lash, its peaks swayed and began to crumble.' ।। 3-146-61 ।।

tasya lAGgUlanidanaM parvataH sa guhA mukhaiH udgArama iva gaura nardama utsasarja samantataH ॥ 3-146-61 ॥

'Overpowering the roars of enraged elephants, the reverberations of his tail resounded across the mountain's diverse slopes.' ।। 3-146-62 ।।

'Hearing those sounds, the hairs on Bhima’s body stood on end. He began to roam through the plantain grove, searching for the source of the noise.' ।। 3-146-63 ।।

'The sight of him was as blinding as a lightning flash, his form radiating a coppery hue akin to that of lightning. He moved with the swiftness of lightning and his voice resounded like thunder.' ।। 3-146-65 ।।
