तत सरॊ ऽथावतीर्याशु परभूतकमलॊत्पलम महागज इवॊद्दामश चिक्रीड बलवद बली विक्रीड्य तस्मिन सुचिरम उत्ततारामित दयुतिः ॥ ३-१४६-५४ ॥
'Seeing these waterfowls, the bull among the Bharatas proceeded towards them and came upon a vast, enchanting lake. This boundless lake, as if kissed by the soft breezes, appeared to be fanned by the golden plantain trees along its shores.' ॥ 3-146-54 ॥
