यथैव भवता चेदं तपॊ वेदार्थम उद्यतम अशक्यं तद्वद अस्माभिर अयं भारः समुद्यतः ॥ ३-१३५-३८ ॥
'Indra said, "O sage, I have undertaken this arduous task, just as you have begun these penances in pursuit of Vedic knowledge, though they can never bear fruit."' ॥ 3-135-38 ॥
