[लॊम] एषा मधुविला राजन समङ्गा संप्रकाशते एतत कर्दमिलं नाम भरतस्याभिसेचनम ॥ ३-१३५-१ ॥
'Lomasa said, "Behold, O King, the river Samanga, once known as Madhuvila, flowing gracefully. Nearby lies Kardamila, the sacred site where Bharata performed his consecration rites."' ॥ 3-135-1 ॥
english translation
अलक्ष्म्या किल संयुक्तॊ वृत्रंहत्वा शचीपतिः आप्लुतः सर्वपापेभ्यः समङ्गायां वयमुच्यत ॥ ३-१३५-२ ॥
'The lord of Sachi, burdened with misfortune after slaying Vritra, purified himself of sin by performing ablutions in the sacred waters of the Samanga.' ॥ 3-135-2 ॥
english translation
एतद विनशनं कुक्षौ मैनाकस्य नरर्षभ अदितिर यत्र पुत्रार्थं तदन्नम अपचत पुरा ॥ ३-१३५-३ ॥
'Here, O bull among men, lies the sacred site where the Mainaka mountain sank into the depths of the earth, earning its name, Vinashana. It was here, in ancient times, that Aditi prepared the celebrated offering, sanctified by the Supreme Being, to obtain sons.' ॥ 3-135-3 ॥

एनं पर्वतराजानम आरुह्य पुरुसर्षभ अयशस्याम असंशब्द्याम अलक्ष्मीं वयपनॊत्स्यथ ॥ ३-१३५-४ ॥
'O bulls among men, ascend this lofty mountain and put an end to your unworthy and inexpressible misery.' ॥ 3-135-4 ॥
english translation
एते कनखला राजन ऋषीणां दयिता नगाः एषा परकाशते गङ्गा युधिष्ठिर महानदी ॥ ३-१३५-५ ॥
'Before you, O King, stands the Kanakhala range, the cherished abode of sages. Behold the radiant Ganga, the great and sacred river, O Yudhishthira.' ॥ 3-135-5 ॥
