नायं शक्यस तवया बद्धुं महान ओघः कथं चन अशक्याद विनिवर्तस्व शक्यम अर्थं समारभ ॥ ३-१३५-३७ ॥
'Yavakri replied, "O one endowed with ascetic power, thou canst not dam this mighty river. O Brahmana, desist from this impossible task and take up something that is within thy reach."' ॥ 3-135-37 ॥
