उपालब्धः शिष्यमध्ये महर्षिः; स तं कॊपाद उदर सथं शशाप यस्मात कुक्षौ वर्तमानॊ बरवीषि; तस्माद वक्रॊ भवितास्य अष्ट कृत्वः ॥ ३-१३२-९ ॥
'The great sage, being reproached among his disciples, became angry and cursed the one in the womb: 'Since you speak while still in the womb, therefore you shall become crooked/bent eight times.'' ॥ 3-132-9 ॥
