एकाह्ना पृथिवी तेन धर्मनित्येन धीमता निर्जिता शासनाद एव स रत्नाकर पत्तना ॥ ३-१२६-३६ ॥
'In just one day, that wise one, devoted to dharma, conquered the earth with all its cities rich in jewels, simply through his command/rule.' ॥ 3-126-36 ॥
english translation
तस्य चित्यैर महाराज करतूनां दक्षिणा वताम चतुरन्ता मही वयाप्ता नासीत किं चिद अनावृतम ॥ ३-१२६-३७ ॥
'O great king, the earth extending to its four corners was covered with the funeral pyres/altars of his sacrificial ceremonies (yajnas) accompanied by abundant gifts/donations, leaving no space uncovered.' ॥ 3-126-37 ॥
english translation
तेन पद्मसहस्राणि गवां दश महात्मना बराह्मणेभ्यॊ महाराज दत्तानीति परचक्षते ॥ ३-१२६-३८ ॥
'O great king, it is said that this great-souled one gave ten thousand lotuses of cows (meaning ten thousand groups of cows) to the Brahmins.' ॥ 3-126-38 ॥

तेन दवादश वार्षिक्याम अनावृष्ट्यां महात्मना वृष्टं सस्यविवृद्ध्य अर्थं मिषतॊ वज्रपाणिनः ॥ ३-१२६-३९ ॥
'During a drought that lasted for twelve consecutive years, the mighty king, disregarding Indra, the wielder of the thunderbolt, caused rain to fall, ensuring the growth of crops. Indra, watching in silence, did not intervene.' ॥ 3-126-39 ॥

तेन सॊमकुलॊत्पन्नॊ गान्धाराधिपतिर महा गर्जन्न इव महामेघः परमथ्य निहतः शरैः ॥ ३-१२६-४० ॥
'The mighty ruler of Gandhara, born into the lunar dynasty, who was as fearsome as a roaring cloud, was slain by him, who struck him fiercely with his arrows, leaving him grievously wounded.' ॥ 3-126-40 ॥
