तेन दवादश वार्षिक्याम अनावृष्ट्यां महात्मना वृष्टं सस्यविवृद्ध्य अर्थं मिषतॊ वज्रपाणिनः ।। ३-१२६-३९ ।।

sanskrit

'During a drought that lasted for twelve consecutive years, the mighty king, disregarding Indra, the wielder of the thunderbolt, caused rain to fall, ensuring the growth of crops. Indra, watching in silence, did not intervene.' ।। 3-126-39 ।।

english translation

tena davAdaza vArSikyAma anAvRSTyAM mahAtmanA vRSTaM sasyavivRddhya arthaM miSatò vajrapANinaH || 3-126-39 ||
