तस्यैतद दविजसंघुष्टं सरॊ राजन परकाशते अत्र तवं सह सॊदर्यैः पितॄन देवांश च तर्पय ॥ ३-१२५-११ ॥

'This is his lake, O king, radiant and echoing with the songs of birds. Here, along with your brothers, you must offer libations of water to your ancestors and the gods.' ॥ 3-125-11 ॥

tasyaitada davijasaMghuSTaM sarò rAjana parakAzate atra tavaM saha sòdaryaiH pitRRna devAMza ca tarpaya ॥ 3-125-11 ॥

एतद दृष्ट्वा महीपाल सिकताक्षं च भारत सैन्धवारण्यम आसाद्य कुल्यानां कुरु दर्शनम पुष्करेषु महाराज सर्वेषु च जलं सपृश ॥ ३-१२५-१२ ॥

'Upon seeing this, O king of the earth, and having visited Sikataksha, proceed to the Saindhava forest. There, O Bharata, view the wells and observe the water in all the tanks, O great king, as you touch the sacred water in them. And, O great king, O scion of Bharata's race! You shall touch the waters of all the sacred lakes.' ॥ 3-125-12 ॥

etada dRSTvA mahIpAla sikatAkSaM ca bhArata saindhavAraNyama AsAdya kulyAnAM kuru darzanama puSkareSu mahArAja sarveSu ca jalaM sapRza ॥ 3-125-12 ॥

आर्चीक पर्वतश चैव निवासॊ वै मनीषिणाम सदा फलः सदा सरॊतॊ मरुतां सथानम उत्तमम चैत्याश चैते बहुशतास तरिदशानां युधिष्ठिर ॥ ३-१२५-१३ ॥

'Yonder stands the Archika hill, a dwelling place for those of refined minds. Here, fruits of every season flourish eternally, and the streams flow without end. It is a sacred place, fit for the celestials. There also stand the holy cairns of various forms, set up by the gods. O Yudhishthira, this is the bathing spot of the Moon.' ॥ 3-125-13 ॥

ArcIka parvataza caiva nivAsò vai manISiNAma sadA phalaH sadA saròtò marutAM sathAnama uttamama caityAza caite bahuzatAsa taridazAnAM yudhiSThira ॥ 3-125-13 ॥

एतच चन्द्रमसस तीर्थम ऋषयः पर्युपासते वैखानसाश च ऋषयॊ वालखिल्यास तथैव च ॥ ३-१२५-१४ ॥

'And all around, the saints are in attendance—these include the hermits of the forest, the Valakhilyas, and the Pavakas, who sustain themselves on air alone.' ॥ 3-125-14 ॥

etaca candramasasa tIrthama RSayaH paryupAsate vaikhAnasAza ca RSayò vAlakhilyAsa tathaiva ca ॥ 3-125-14 ॥

शृङ्गाणि तरीणि पुण्याणि तरीणि परस्रवणानि च सर्वाण्य अनुपरिक्रम्य यथाकामम उपस्पृश ॥ ३-१२५-१५ ॥

'There are three peaks here and three sacred springs. You may walk around them all, one by one, and then bathe yourself as you wish.' ॥ 3-125-15 ॥
