[ल] ततः शरुत्वा तु शर्यातिर वयः सथं चयवनं कृतम संहृष्टः सेनया सार्धम उपायाद भार्गवाश्रमम ।। ३-१२४-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Lomasa said, 'The news reached Saryati that Chyavana had been transformed into a youth. Delighted, he set out, accompanied by his troops, to the hermitage of the son of Bhrigu.'' ।। 3-124-1 ।।

english translation

[la] tataH zarutvA tu zaryAtira vayaH sathaM cayavanaM kRtama saMhRSTaH senayA sArdhama upAyAda bhArgavAzramama || 3-124-1 ||

'When he saw Chyavana and Sukanya, like two children born of the celestials, his joy, along with that of his wife, was as great as if he had conquered the entire world.' ।। 3-124-2 ।।

'The ruler of the earth, along with his wife, was honorably received by the sage. Seated near the ascetic, the king engaged in a delightful and auspicious conversation.' ।। 3-124-3 ।।

अथैनं भार्गवॊ राजन्न उवाच परिसान्त्वयन याजयिष्यामि राजंस तवां संभारान उपकल्पय ।। ३-१२४-४ ।।

'Then, O King, the son of Bhrigu spoke these soothing words to him: 'I shall, O King, officiate at the religious ceremony you wish to perform. Therefore, let the necessary items be gathered.'' ।। 3-124-4 ।।

athainaM bhArgavò rAjanna uvAca parisAntvayana yAjayiSyAmi rAjaMsa tavAM saMbhArAna upakalpaya || 3-124-4 ||

'Thereupon, Saryati, the protector of the earth, experienced the utmost joy, and, O great king, he expressed his approval of the proposal made by Chyavana.' ।। 3-124-5 ।।
