न कल्प्यन्ते समिधः किं नु तात; कच चिद धुतं चाग्निहॊत्रं तवयाद्य सुनिर्निक्तं सरुक सरुवं हॊमधेनुः; कच चित स वत्सा च कृता तवयाद्य ।। ३-१११-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'My boy, why are you not hewing the logs for fuel? I trust you have performed the burnt offering ceremony today. Have you polished the sacrificial ladles and spoons, and brought the calf to the milch cow, whose milk provides the materials for the fire offerings?' ।। 3-111-21 ।।

english translation

na kalpyante samidhaH kiM nu tAta; kaca cida dhutaM cAgnihòtraM tavayAdya sunirniktaM saruka saruvaM hòmadhenuH; kaca cita sa vatsA ca kRtA tavayAdya || 3-111-21 ||
