नदी कुञ्ज नितम्बैश च सॊदकैर उपशॊभितम गुहा कन्दरसंलीनैः सिंहव्याघ्रैर निषेवितम ॥ ३-१०७-६ ॥
'Adorned with rivers and groves, and rugged rocky outcrops that resembled grand palaces, the mountain was home to lions and tigers hidden within its caves and ravines.' ॥ 3-107-6 ॥

शकुनैश च वि चित्राङ्गैः कूजद्भिर विविधा गिरः भृङ्गराजैस तथा हंसैर दात्यूहैर जलकुक्कुतैः ॥ ३-१०७-७ ॥
'It echoed with the diverse calls of various birds, including the Bhringarajas, ganders, and Datyuhas, as well as water-cocks, peacocks, and colorful feathered creatures.' ॥ 3-107-7 ॥

मयूरैः शतपत्रैश च कॊकिलैर जीव जीवकैः चकॊरैर असितापाङ्गैस तथा पुत्र परियैर अपि ॥ ३-१०७-८ ॥
'Among them were the Jivanjivakas, black birds, and Chakoras with eyes rimmed in black, alongside nurturing birds devoted to their young.' ॥ 3-107-8 ॥

जलस्थानेषु रम्येषु पद्मिनीभिश च संकुलम सारसानां च मधुरैर वयाहृतैः समलं कृतम ॥ ३-१०७-९ ॥
'He beheld the mountain rich with lotus plants flourishing in delightful pools of water, while the cranes enhanced its allure with their melodious calls.' ॥ 3-107-9 ॥

किंनरैर अप्सरॊभिश च निषेवित शिलातलम दिशागजविषाणाग्रैः समन्ताद घृष्ट पादपम ॥ ३-१०७-१० ॥
'The cranes enhanced its beauty with their melodious calls, while Kinnaras and celestial nymphs graced its rocky ledges. Elephants, roaming the cardinal directions, had stripped its trees with their tusks, and the hill was often frequented by the Vidyadhara demi-gods.' ॥ 3-107-10 ॥
