एकस तत्र बलॊपेतॊ धुरम उद्वहते ऽधिकाम अपरॊ ऽलपबलप्राणः कृशॊ धमनि संततः कृच्छ्राद उद्वहते भारं तं वै शॊचामि वासव ॥ ३-१०-१२ ॥
'The stronger of the pair bears his burden with ease, but the other, lean and frail, covered in veins and arteries, struggles under the weight.' ॥ 3-10-12 ॥
