Duryodhana said: Whatever Vidura has said regarding Kṛṣṇa is all spoken as truth. For Janārdana is devoted to the Pārthas and is not to be overcome in contest.

english translation

But as for wealth to be bestowed upon Janārdana together with formal honors—of many kinds, O lord of kings—that must never be given.

english translation

Neither the place nor the time is, in that manner, suitable for Keśava. The Adhokṣaja, O King, would think: ‘He is honoring me out of fear.’

english translation

Where there would be humiliation for a kṣatriya, O lord of the people, a wise person should not undertake that course of action—this is my settled view.

english translation

For Kṛṣṇa, lotus-eyed, is indeed the most venerable divine figure; this is fully known to me, even with respect to the three worlds.
