जानासि हि यथा दृष्ट्वा चीराजिनधरान्वने । तवापि मन्युरुद्भूतो दुःखितान्प्रेक्ष्य पाण्डवान्॥५-७९-६॥
For you know how, upon seeing the Pāṇḍavas in the forest wearing bark-garments and antelope-skins, your own indignation also arose when you observed them in distress.

तस्मान्माद्रीसुतः शूरो यदाह पुरुषर्षभः । वचनं सर्वयोधानां तन्मतं पुरुषोत्तम॥५-७९-७॥
Therefore, O best of men, what the heroic son of Mādrī—the bull among men—has spoken is the considered judgment of all the warriors, O Supreme Person.

वैशंपायन उवाच । एवं वदति वाक्यं तु युयुधाने महामतौ । सुभीमः सिंहनादोऽभूद्योधानां तत्र सर्वशः॥५-७९-८॥
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: As the great-minded Yuyudhāna spoke thus, a formidable, lion-like acclamation arose there among the warriors on every side.
