संपाद्यमानं सम्यक्च स्यात्कर्म सफलं प्रभो । स तथा कृष्ण वर्तस्व यथा शर्म भवेत्परैः॥५-७६-६॥
When an undertaking is properly carried through, the deed bears the fruit of success, O Lord. Therefore, O Kṛṣṇa, conduct yourself so that welfare may arise for others.
english translation
पाण्डवानां कुरूणां च भवान्परमकः सुहृत् । सुराणामसुराणां च यथा वीर प्रजापतिः॥५-७६-७॥
You are the foremost well-wisher of both the Pāṇḍavas and the Kurus—like the heroic Prajāpati, who impartially bestows benefit upon devas and asuras alike.
english translation
कुरूणां पाण्डवानां च प्रतिपत्स्व निरामयम् । अस्मद्धितमनुष्ठातुं न मन्ये तव दुष्करम्॥५-७६-८॥
Secure a course free from harm for both the Kurus and the Pāṇḍavas. I do not think it difficult for you to carry out what is beneficial to us.
english translation
एवं चेत्कार्यतामेति कार्यं तव जनार्दन । गमनादेवमेव त्वं करिष्यसि न संशयः॥५-७६-९॥
If this is to be brought into effect, Janārdana, it is your task. By your very going there, you will accomplish it in this manner—of this there is no doubt.
english translation
चिकीर्षितमथान्यत्ते तस्मिन्वीर दुरात्मनि । भविष्यति तथा सर्वं यथा तव चिकीर्षितम्॥५-७६-१०॥
And whatever else you intend regarding that ill-disposed person, O hero—everything will come to pass accordingly, just as you intend.
