युध्येयं क्षत्रियान्सर्वान्पाण्डवेष्वाततायिनः । अधः पादतलेनैतानधिष्ठास्यामि भूतले॥५-७४-११॥
I would fight all the kṣatriyas who, on behalf of the Pāṇḍavas, act as aggressors; I would set them beneath the sole of my foot upon the earth.

न हि त्वं नाभिजानासि मम विक्रममच्युत । यथा मया विनिर्जित्य राजानो वशगाः कृताः॥५-७४-१२॥
Surely you do not fully comprehend my prowess, O Acyuta—how, having defeated them, I have brought kings under my control.

अथ चेन्मां न जानासि सूर्यस्येवोद्यतः प्रभाम् । विगाढे युधि संबाधे वेत्स्यसे मां जनार्दन॥५-७४-१३॥
And if you do not know me—like the radiance of the rising sun—then in the dense press of battle you will come to know me, O Janārdana.

किं मात्यवाक्षीः परुषैर्व्रणं सूच्या इवानघ । यथामति ब्रवीम्येतद्विद्धि मामधिकं ततः॥५-७४-१४॥
Why, O blameless one, do you touch a wound with harsh words, as though with a needle? I speak this according to my understanding; know me to be more than that.

द्रष्टासि युधि संबाधे प्रवृत्ते वैशसेऽहनि । मया प्रणुन्नान्मातङ्गान्रथिनः सादिनस्तथा॥५-७४-१५॥
You will see, in the close press of battle when the day of violent contest has commenced, elephants driven back by me—and likewise chariot-warriors and cavalry.
