Exhaling with a fire-like hue, heated by your own anger and unquiet in mind, O Bhīma, you resemble a fire shrouded in smoke.

english translation

In solitude you lie groaning, like a weak man oppressed by a burden; and some people, ignorant of the true matter, may even think you deranged.

english translation

Tearing up trees by the roots as an elephant might handle them, you run about groaning, O Bhīma, striking the ground with your feet.

english translation

You take no pleasure among people; in seclusion you waste away, O Pāṇḍava; and at no time—by night or by day—do you show approval toward anyone else.

english translation

Suddenly you smile, yet sitting in private as if weeping; for a long time you remain with your head upon your knees, your eyes closed.
