सहस्रशीर्षं पुरुषं पुराणमनादिमध्यान्तमनन्तकीर्तिम् । शुक्रस्य धातारमजं जनित्रं परं परेभ्यः शरणं प्रपद्ये॥५-६९-६॥
I take refuge in the primordial Puruṣa of a thousand heads—without beginning, middle, or end, of limitless renown; the sustainer even of Śukra; unborn, the source of generation; supreme beyond the supreme.

त्रैलोक्यनिर्माणकरं जनित्रं देवासुराणामथ नागरक्षसाम् । नराधिपानां विदुषां प्रधानमिन्द्रानुजं तं शरणं प्रपद्ये॥५-६९-७॥
I take refuge in him who fashions and orders the three worlds—the progenitor of gods and asuras, and likewise of nāgas and rākṣasas; the foremost among kings and the learned, Indra’s younger brother.
