विराटः सह पुत्राभ्यां शङ्खेनैवोत्तरेण च । सूर्यदत्तादिभिर्वीरैर्मदिराश्वपुरोगमैः॥५-५६-६॥
Virāṭa arrived with his two sons—Śaṅkha and Uttara—and with heroes such as Sūryadatta, led in the vanguard by Madirāśva.
english translation
सहितः पृथिवीपालो भ्रातृभिस्तनयैस्तथा । अक्षौहिण्यैव सैन्यस्य वृतः पार्थं समाश्रितः॥५-५६-७॥
That ruler, accompanied by his brothers and sons, and surrounded by an akṣauhiṇī of troops, aligned himself with Pārtha (Arjuna).

जारासंधिर्मागधश्च धृष्टकेतुश्च चेदिराट् । पृथक्पृथगनुप्राप्तौ पृथगक्षौहिणीवृतौ॥५-५६-८॥
Jārāsaṃdhi of Magadha and Dhṛṣṭaketu, the king of Cedi, arrived separately, each attended by his own akṣauhiṇī.

केकया भ्रातरः पञ्च सर्वे लोहितकध्वजाः । अक्षौहिणीपरिवृताः पाण्डवानभिसंश्रिताः॥५-५६-९॥
The five Kekaya brothers, all bearing red banners, surrounded by an akṣauhiṇī, aligned themselves with the Pāṇḍavas.

एतानेतावतस्तत्र यानपश्यं समागतान् । ये पाण्डवार्थे योत्स्यन्ति धार्तराष्ट्रस्य वाहिनीम्॥५-५६-१०॥
These, and others of this extent, I saw assembled there—those who will undertake battle for the Pāṇḍavas against the Dhārtarāṣṭra host.
