O descendant of Bharata, all those kings who wish to do what is pleasing to me will try to restrain them; but it will be like trying to hold back wild antelopes with a mere thread.

english translation

With a vast formation of chariots and with networks of arrows deployed by my forces, the Pāñcālas together with the Pāṇḍavas will be driven into close engagement.

english translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: My son laments as if deranged, O Sañjaya; for he is not able to defeat Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira in battle.

english translation

For Bhīṣma always knows the stature of the illustrious Pāṇḍavas—powerful, with their sons, learned in dharma, and high-minded.

english translation

Therefore I did not approve of hostility with those high-minded men. Yet, O Sañjaya, tell me again of their actions and intentions.
