यथा निदाघे ज्वलनः समिद्धो दहेत्कक्षं वायुना चोद्यमानः । गदाहस्तः पाण्डवस्तद्वदेव हन्ता मदीयान्सहितोऽर्जुनेन॥५-५०-६१॥
Just as, in the heat of summer, a kindled fire—driven by the wind—would consume dry brush, so too that Pāṇḍava with the mace in hand, together with Arjuna, will be the agent of my side’s destruction.
