Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: All those high-spirited men whom you have named are gathered on one side—while Bhīma stands alone on the other.

english translation

Indeed, it is from Bhīmasena that a greater fear arises in me, my son—like the fear of a most fierce tiger when enraged and unable to brook an insult.

english translation

I lie awake through all the nights, breathing out long, heated sighs; I fear Vṛkodara, my son, as a helpless beast fears a lion.

english translation

For within this army, O mighty-armed one, I see no man who could withstand him in battle—him, the great-armed hero whose brilliance is like that of Śakra (Indra).

english translation

That son of Kuntī, the Pāṇḍava, cannot endure insult and is steadfast in enmity; he is not given to laughter, seems as if in heightened fervor, looks sideways, and has a mighty voice.
