ह्रिया ज्ञानेन तपसा दमेन क्रोधेनाथो धर्मगुप्त्या धनेन । अन्यायवृत्तः कुरुपाण्डवेयानध्यातिष्ठद्धार्तराष्ट्रो दुरात्मा॥५-४७-१०॥
By modesty, by knowledge, by austerity, by self-restraint, by anger, and also by guarding dharma and by wealth—the Dhārtarāṣṭra, of corrupt disposition, dominated the Kurus and the Pāṇḍavas through unjust conduct.
