Even if one, having extended wings by thousands upon thousands, were to fly, and even if one were swift as the mind, one would reach only the middle of the middle (not the end). Yogins behold that Eternal Blessed One.

His form does not stand within ordinary sight; yet those of thoroughly purified being perceive him. The well-disposed wise person should behold him with the mind; those who take refuge in him become immortal. Yogins behold that Eternal Blessed One.

As serpents hide in deep hollows, so do mortals—by their own discipline and habitual conduct—conceal the truth. The deluded grow confused in these matters, as travellers are misled upon the road into fear. But yogins behold that eternal Lord, Bhagavān, the Sanātana.

One may be ever honoured or ever dishonoured; yet where is “death,” and whence “immortality,” if these are but social predicates? In truth and untruth—bound as though by an equal tie—the source of both the existent and the non-existent is one. Yogins perceive that eternal Lord, Bhagavān, the Sanātana.
english translation
Among human beings, this reality is not seen as the same—neither by the virtuous nor by the unvirtuous. Yet it should be known as one with respect to the Immortal; thus integrated, one should seek that “madhu,” the essential sweetness of realization. Yogins perceive that eternal Lord, Bhagavān, the Sanātana.
