अव्याधिजं कटुकं शीर्षरोगं पापानुबन्धं परुषं तीक्ष्णमुग्रम् । सतां पेयं यन्न पिबन्त्यसन्तो मन्युं महाराज पिब प्रशाम्य॥५-३६-६६॥
Anger is a bitter affliction not born of bodily disease—like a headache—linked with wrongdoing, harsh, sharp, and severe. It is a ‘drink’ that the virtuous do not drink; O great king, drink down anger by pacifying it.
