Karṇa knows it, and so does Suyodhana; Droṇa knows it, and so does the Grandsire. And the other Kurus present there also know: apart from Arjuna, there is no other archer of comparable caliber.

All these Kurus, and the other assembled rulers as well, know that Duryodhana persists in wrongdoing, O subduer of foes, while Phalguna (Arjuna) is not present.
english translation
Therefore the son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra imagines that, bound by material interest, it is possible to take away the Pāṇḍavas’ rightful sense of possession—once the diademed one (Arjuna), armed only to a minimal extent, has gone to that engagement, being knowledgeable of it.

When they hear, in the engagement, the sound released from the Gāṇḍīva, the Dhārtarāṣṭras lose composure. Yet Suyodhana imagines his objective secured, even in view of the momentum of an angered Bhīmasena.
english translation
Even Indra, dear Sañjaya, would not venture to take away our sovereignty while Bhīmasena lives—nor while Dhanaṃjaya, Nakula, and my heroic Sahadeva are present.
