And having met Janārdana as well—dear one, that eminent and magnanimous leader among the valorous—ask after his well-being in my words: ‘Dhṛtarāṣṭra seeks peace with the Pāṇḍavas.’

english translation

Charioteer’s son, no son of Kuntī would fail to act upon any word of his (Kṛṣṇa’s). For Kṛṣṇa is dear to them, regarded as equal to their own selves, discerning, and continually engaged in their affairs.

english translation

Approach the Pāṇḍavas and the Sṛñjayas—Janārdana, Yuyudhāna, and Virāṭa—and in my words inquire after the welfare of them all; and likewise of the five sons of Draupadī.

english translation

Whatever you deem there timely to say to the others, and conducive to the welfare of the Bhāratas, speak accordingly, Sañjaya, in the midst of kings—so that matters do not flare up and war does not come to pass.
