दशार्णराजो राजंस्त्वामिदं वचनमब्रवीत् । अभिषङ्गात्प्रकुपितो विप्रलब्धस्त्वयानघ॥५-१९०-२१॥
‘The king of Daśārṇa, O king, conveys this message to you: provoked by resentment, he is enraged and considers himself deceived by you, O blameless one.’

अवमन्यसे मां नृपते नूनं दुर्मन्त्रितं तव । यन्मे कन्यां स्वकन्यार्थे मोहाद्याचितवानसि॥५-१९०-२२॥
You have surely slighted me, O king; your counsel must have been misguided, since in delusion you requested my daughter for the sake of your own child.

तस्याद्य विप्रलम्भस्य फलं प्राप्नुहि दुर्मते । एष त्वां सजनामात्यमुद्धरामि स्थिरो भव॥५-१९०-२३॥
Therefore, receive today the consequence of that deception, O ill-judging one. I will now remove you—together with your kinsmen and ministers; be resolute.
