यथा रामो बाणजालाभितप्तस्तथैवाहं सुभृशं गाढविद्धः । ततो युद्धं व्यरमच्चापराह्णे भानावस्तं प्रार्थयाने महीध्रम्॥५-१८२-१६॥
As Rāma was grievously distressed by a net of arrows, so too was I, struck intensely and pierced deep. Thereafter the battle ceased in the afternoon, when the sun was nearing the mountain on the horizon, approaching its setting.
