Approaching the king of Saubha, I spoke words that were harsh; yet he did not accept me, for he suspected my conduct.

english translation

Therefore, having determined all this by your own judgment, O descendant of Bhṛgu, you ought to consider what action here is fitting and expedient.

english translation

In this misfortune of mine, Bhīṣma—of the great vow—is the very root of it; for it was he who then seized me and, by force, brought me under his control.

english translation

Therefore, O mighty-armed one, bring down Bhīṣma, because of whom I have met with such suffering. O tiger among the Bhṛgus, I endure what is profoundly unwelcome.

english translation

For he is acquisitive and proud, and he has conquered Kāśī, O Bhārgava. Therefore, O faultless one, it is fitting for you to undertake a counter-measure against him.
