अम्बोवाच । ममाप्येष महान्ब्रह्मन्हृदि कामोऽभिवर्तते । घातयेयं यदि रणे भीष्ममित्येव नित्यदा॥५-१७६-१३॥
Amba said: “O great Brahmin, in my own heart too this mighty resolve continually arises: ‘If only I could bring about Bhīṣma’s death in a battle joined with strategy.’”
