तदा मनस्ते त्रिदिवादिवाशुचेर्निवर्ततां पार्थ महीप्रशासनात् । राज्यं प्रशास्तुं हि सुदुर्लभं त्वया बुभूषता स्वर्ग इवातपस्विना॥५-१५८-४१॥
Then, O Pārtha, let your mind swiftly turn away from ruling the earth, as one turns away from heaven when one is no ascetic; for to govern a kingdom is exceedingly difficult for you who wish to live secure—just as heaven is hard to attain for one without austerity.
