Aśvatthāman is to me as Śvetahaya is mine. What is the use of excessive talk? Where dharma is, there is victory.
english translation
When this had been said, O great king, by Droṇa of immeasurable energy, Vidura—steadfast in truth—then spoke. Having looked toward his father’s face and turning about, the knower of dharma addressed the assembly.
english translation
O Devavrata (Bhīṣma), understand these words as I speak: the Kaurava lineage, once on the verge of ruin, was restored again by you.
english translation
You disregard my words even as I lament. Who is this one called Duryodhana in this lineage—this blemish upon the family?
english translation
You follow the judgment of one overcome by greed—one ignoble and ungrateful, whose mind is impaired by avarice—who transgresses the counsel and norms laid down by his father, a discerner of dharma and artha.
