उपपन्नो गुणैः श्रेष्ठो ज्येष्ठः श्रेष्ठेषु बन्धुषु । सूतपुत्रेति मा शब्दः पार्थस्त्वमसि वीर्यवान्॥५-१४३-१२॥
Endowed with virtues, you are excellent—indeed the eldest among excellent kinsmen. Let there be no talk of you as a ‘charioteer’s son’; you are a Pārtha, a man of proven strength.
