युधिष्ठिरो मया दृष्टो ग्रसमानो वसुंधराम् । त्वया दत्तामिमां व्यक्तं भोक्ष्यते स वसुंधराम्॥५-१४१-३१॥
I saw Yudhiṣṭhira as though consuming the earth; it is evident that he will enjoy this earth that has been granted by you.
english translation
उच्चं पर्वतमारूढो भीमकर्मा वृकोदरः । गदापाणिर्नरव्याघ्रो वीक्षन्निव महीमिमाम्॥५-१४१-३२॥
Vṛkodara, formidable in action, was seen upon a high mountain—mace in hand—like a tiger among men, surveying this earth.
english translation
क्षपयिष्यति नः सर्वान्स सुव्यक्तं महारणे । विदितं मे हृषीकेश यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः॥५-१४१-३३॥
He will neutralize us all in the great engagement—this is quite evident. Yet I know, Hṛṣīkeśa: where dharma is, there is victory.
english translation
पाण्डुरं गजमारूढो गाण्डीवी स धनंजयः । त्वया सार्धं हृषीकेश श्रिया परमया ज्वलन्॥५-१४१-३४॥
Dhanaṃjaya, bearing the Gāṇḍīva, was seen mounted on a pale elephant; together with you, Hṛṣīkeśa, he blazed with supreme splendor.
english translation
यूयं सर्वान्वधिष्यध्वं तत्र मे नास्ति संशयः । पार्थिवान्समरे कृष्ण दुर्योधनपुरोगमान्॥५-१४१-३५॥
You will destroy them all in the battle—of this I have no doubt, O Kṛṣṇa—those kings with Duryodhana at their head.
